Event Description:
KDLL Public Radio presents Adventure Talks: Snow Cave Survival at 7 p.m. April 28 at the Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center. Adventure Talks is a series of live presentations and on-air interviews about the trials, trails and travels of Kenai Peninsula residents. Soldotna residents Chris Hanna and Jenny Neyman will talk about surviving a skiing misadventure last April that left them buried in a snow cave on the Harding Ice Field for four days. Listen to an on-air interview about backcountry emergency communication at 10 a.m. April 26 on 91.9 FM KDLL. At 7 p.m. April 28, Hanna and Neyman will give a live talk, photo presentation and Q&A session at the Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center. General admission is $5, or free for KDLL members.
