Pushing the Limits of Change

Explore ideas about building resiliency and developing adaptation strategies in the face of extreme weather events and a changing climate in a three part series at the library this fall. We will discuss “Flight Behavior” by Barbara Kingsolver and watch a short documentary titled “Pushing the Limits: Change.” Free paperback copies of the book are available at the library and you don’t need a library card to borrow one. We will be joined by Alaska NOAA Scientists Kris Holderied and Marilyn Sigman. Pushing the Limits: PLACE is a library hosted reading, viewing and discussion program for adults in underserved and rural communities, made possible by grants from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the National Science Foundation. Light refreshments will be provided by the Soldotna Library Friends.
