Event Description:
Join us on Earth Day for a tour of our facilities at Ageya Wilderness Education Center and hear about our permaculture plan! Expect hot coffee, tea, a fire and good conversation about mindful living. This is a perfect time for prospective instructors to come and check out workspaces too. Kevin Dee is a business consultant and has been assisting Homer Folk School with their organizational development. Kevin was the co- founder of Ageya Wilderness Education and has an extensive background facilitating youth camps, art, timber framing, farming and building. Kevin is an artist and expresses his creativity through many different art mediums. He has been the guiding force in the building and design of Ageya’s retreat center where classes for the Homer Folk School are held.
