“About Boating Safely” offered by the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. o This two-day boating course is designed to educate boaters in the skills needed to safely handle and operate a boat in Alaskan waters. o When you review Alaska specific laws and regulations, you'll be confident you are staying current and staying safe. o Whether you are a new boater or have been boating for many years you may discover that you can still learns something new "about boating safely." o Topics Included in this Course: 1 - Know Your Boat; 2 - Before You Get Underway; 3 - Navigating the Waterways; 4 - Operating your Boat/PWC safely; 5 - Legal Requirements of Boating; 6 - Boating Emergencies; 7 - Enjoying Water Sports with Your Boat
